High Rise Anxiety
High Rise Anxiety is a photographic series that explores my way of coping with anxiety. I explore my own psyche by shooting very organized forms and reconstructing them. Through this process I come to terms with the fact that sometimes there is disorganization in life, and one has to cope with it in the best way you can. The images feature structural forms (formal lines and shapes found in buildings), rearranged into new visual compositions. These serve as a metaphor for my process of moving from anxiety to understanding that beauty and wonder are found in what might seem to lack organization.

Glimpse
Since I was little I have always been drawn to be very detail oriented, a quality that is reflected in my photographs. I shot details at the Marin Headlands following my instinct. In a way, I’m finding and creating new landscapes in these details that help me give the place my own meaning.

A lot of times you have your frame very much in mind and you're waiting for things to fall in place.”
